Hello, last Sunday it was Father’s Day.
I spent my Father’s Day with my children and we went to Tynemouth. It was a perfect day to go to the beach it was sunny and one of the hottest days of the year. Tynemouth is one of my favourite places to go. The beach is one of my favourites, I love the town, the priory and castle. It has the Blue Reef aquarium there which we have been too before but didn’t go this time, maybe next time. It’s a great place to visit especially on days like today and perfect for photographers. If you live in the north east give it a visit, you’ll love it.
I’ve also added a new YouTube video to my channel of the day. So check it out, link below.

Hello yesterday I took my son to see The Lego Batman Movie.
The story goes: There are big changes brewing in Gotham, but if Batman (Will Arnett) wants to save the city from the Joker’s (Zach Galifianakis) hostile takeover, he may have to drop the lone vigilante thing, try to work with others and maybe, just maybe, learn to lighten up. Maybe his superhero sidekick Robin (Michael Cera) and loyal butler Alfred (Ralph Fiennes) can show him a thing or two.
I’ve always been a big Batman fan and have seen The Lego Movie and Batman was the best thing about that movie, so a solo Lego Batman Movie was inevitable. Will Arnett is a great comedic actor and sounds like Batman so he’s the perfect choice for the movie. Zack Galifianakis is also a great comedic actor and is a good choice for The Joker. He hasn’t got the voice and laugh that Mark Hamill has but for this movie it works. Got to remember this is a family movie after all. There’s lots of famous voice overs in this movie from Channing Tatum as Superman and Jonah Hill as the Green Lantern. As a fan I got all the references to previous movies and liked those, like the parade with Prince playing reference, Batman 1989. I enjoyed the movie it’s an enjoyable, funny family movie which all the family will enjoy. There’s something for everyone in it. If you’re a fan or even if you’re not I think you’ll enjoy it and recommend you go see it.
